Allison’s journey into entrepreneurship began with a life-changing realization after being laid off from her corporate job. Determined to prioritize joy in her life, she embarked on a new path as a home organizer, helping parents create tidy and serene spaces. However, less than 2 years after opening her business the challenges of the COVID pandemic led her to shift her focus once again.
Drawing from her Jamaican roots and her passion for creating unique and refreshing beverages led her to embark on a journey to craft the perfect hibiscus/sorrel beverage. Born and raised in a family that valued wellness, Allison developed a deep appreciation for the healing properties of plants. Her love for tea and her fascination with the hibiscus flower eventually inspired her to create a beverage that not only delighted the taste buds but also nourished the body. Allison’s commitment to quality and sustainability is at the heart of everything she does. She sources the finest hibiscus flowers from trusted farmers who share her values, ensuring that every sip of Hibiscus Brew is a true reflection of nature’s goodness. I love this spot. The place is adorably pink and floral, the service is always friendly and prompt, and they have one of my favorite smoothies in all of Brooklyn. I always order the Hibiscus Smoothie, and it is just delicious. It’s a good little cafe to hang out in, too.

My go-to coffeeshop in the neighborhood! I love swinging by here on my way to work, coffee in hand on the subway, station just around the corner. I’m usually a simple cold brew person, but their blended drinks and lattes are both excellent, while boasting a variety of flavors usually hard to find (sorrel and soursop).

Such an absolutely cute spot and it doesn’t hurt that is owned and operated by a Caribbean woman ( Jamrock massive). Got their blue magic latte that is truly instagramable . It contains butterfly pea,matcha and agave. It was absolutely delicious. I also had a chance to try their sorrel
