Nourishing our Community with Island Flavors
Hibiscus Brew is a black-owned, female-founded café that seeks to bring a slice of the Caribbean to Brooklyn through wellness nutrition to support a healthy lifestyle. Our core principles revolve around conscious living, prioritizing the well-being of both ourselves and the environment.
What is Hibiscus?
Hibiscus Roselle is a crimson-colored drink that is known throughout the Caribbean. We have infused it with ginger and lightly sweetened it with agave, resulting in a sweet but tangy flavor with a citrusy bite and a floral note. Our sorrel hibiscus beverage comes from a generational recipe that we have perfected over the years, made in small batches to ensure the highest quality.
Benefits
Our hibiscus beverage is low in sugar, allowing the natural flavor of the hibiscus to shine through. It’s also low in calories and versatile, making it a refreshing base for mocktails. Additionally, hibiscus provides various health benefits such as supporting brain function, immune support, and its antioxidant power due to its rich content of beta-carotene, vitamin C, and anthocyanins. These antioxidants help destroy harmful molecules known as free radicals within your body, preventing cell damage and contributing to overall health.

Such an absolutely cute spot and it doesn’t hurt that is owned and operated by a Caribbean woman ( Jamrock massive). Stopped in before heading over to the park for an early morning walk and got their blue magic latte that is truly instagramable .

As a lover of Matcha tea, they make some of the best. Overall I haven’t found another place that matches the overall quality and taste thus far regarding the Matcha. I only wished the price was slightly cheaper but I get it, you want good Matcha, you have to pay for it.
